HON. LAWAL MUHAMMADU IDIRISU CONDEMNS RECENT KILLINGS IN ADOGU/OGODO WARD


 

The Member Representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon Lawal Muhammadu Idirisu has frowned at the recent killings of some of his constituents as a result of the communal clashes between two communities Adogu and Onyokumi .

The Member who sued for peace, said efforts are ongoing to bring the two communities together to dialogue and settle them permanently.

The Member who described the clashes as devastating, childish and crude because the two communities have lived together and inter married years lamented that the clashof one family.

The Member further said that he is in touch with the commissioner of police already on the ugly development with a view to putting up security personnel towards maintaining peace in the two communities while efforts will be ongoing to permanently resolve the crisis.

Hon. Lawal sincerely condoled with the people of Adogu/Ogodo Ward especially Adogu Community for the great loss of loved ones
