Hon. Idris Lokoja, has congratulated Major General W. Shaibu on his appointment as the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, described the elevation as a well-deserved recognition of excellence, discipline, and patriotism.

In a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, Hon. Idris said the appointment of Major General Shaibu was a testament to his years of dedication, loyalty, and exceptional service to the Nigerian Army and the nation at large.
