Today affords me an opportunity to reiterate that Kogi state gubernatorial primary election of All Progressive Congress – (APC) conducted on April 14th, 2023 that saw the emergence of Alhaji Ahmed Ododo Usman as its Party Flagbearer will be remembered as one of the most fiercely competitive, unpredictable, and systemic decision in Kogi’s democratic history since its creation.
As a bonafide and founding member of All Progressive Congress – (APC), It is time to congratulate our party Flagbearer Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for emerging victorious from this rigorously fought permutations and primary.
As evidenced by his articulation of Kogi’s problems as Auditor General for Local Government into a compendium alongside distilled solutions grounded in detailed proposed policy of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello; a reformer and unifier with unmatched resolve and a deep sense of ideological direction needed to transform Kogi State.
From my inquiries and conviction, I have got immense respect for you because of your stellar credentials in governance and public service. Therefore, the physical manifestation of frailty which a lot considered suggestive of geriatric neurodegenerative infirmities elicited deep concerns in me and for the viability of #NewKogi.
Notwithstanding, Kogites have chosen you, and Allah has willed that you will indeed fly APC ticket. The task ahead is enormous and tasking from campaign to winning general election slated for 11 November, 2023. So, a United All Progressive Congress– (APC) is needed to achieve this tasking project of #NewKogi.
As we expect grouping and regrouping of campaign team and media organizations, I pray God Almighty complement such a huge task with the requisite health, strength and resolve required to drive the “NewKogi” agenda.
