Hon Abang sponsors training of 450 traditional Chiefs on peace-building
The parliamentarian representing Boki/Ikom Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, Hon Victor Abang, popularly known as Mature, recently sponsored the training of 450 traditional rulers from the two Local Government Areas (LGAs) that makes up the Federal Constituency.
A Facebook post by the Personal Assistant (PA) to the legislator, on Media and Publicity, Simon Abang, reads:
“Hon. Victor Abang, Member representing Boki/Ikom Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has sponsored the training of 450 traditional chiefs on peacebuilding and peace development across Boki and Ikom.
“The initiative aims to strengthen grassroots conflict resolution, promote communal harmony, and empower traditional institutions as key drivers of sustainable peace and development within the constituency.’
Hon Abang has greatly demonstrated pragmatic, visionary and productive leadership to the admiration of his constituents who have endorsed him for another term in the Federal Legislature.
The lawmaker, a peace-lover and gentleman politician, has left no stone unturned in offering quality representation, building trust and confidence in his constituents.
