The Convener, Congress for Better Nigeria, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has praised Gov. Yahaya Bello for ensuring that the last Saturday’s Local Government congresses held in Kogi State was hitch-free.
According to the Convener, the Congresses witnessed the election of leaders of the All Progressive Congress across the twenty-one LG areas of the state without rancour, attributed the feat to the political leadership provided by Gov. Yahaya Bello.
Barr. Dare noted that the peaceful exercise in Kogi state is a perfect example of peaceful politics in the country, urged other states to emulate the leadership style of Gov. Bello, pointing out that his inclusive leadership style, making everyone to be a stakeholder, reason that informed the rancour Free exercise.
He commended Gov. Bello for adopting in truth and in spirit the consensus approach in selecting the leaders at all levels, expressed satisfaction that the will of the party members at all the local government areas prevailed.
Barr. Dare tasked the party members for their support and solicited their continued cooperation in sustaining a peaceful, united and strong political party in the state.
Similarly, Barr. Dare equally praised the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Government for working in unison with Gov. Bello in ensuring that the APC in the State remains the envy of all, assured that soon the CoS will get the reward for total loyalty to the Governor and the APC.
