.. APC Candidate Promises God-Fearing, People-Centered Leadership Focused on Education, Health and Agriculture
The All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Ajaokuta Local Government Area, Hon. Haruna Mohammed Ganaja, has intensified his campaign across the council, with a firm promise to deliver the much-talked-about dividends of democracy to the people.
Addressing stakeholders and residents during his grassroots engagements, Hon. Haruna described his aspiration as one driven by a clear vision to move Ajaokuta forward. He pledged to provide leadership rooted in the fear of God and in deep respect for humanity.
“My commitment is to make life more meaningful for the people of Ajaokuta. This council deserves purposeful leadership that listens, that serves, and that delivers,” he said.
The APC candidate outlined education, health and agriculture as his top priority areas. He assured that under his administration, basic education will receive renewed investment, primary healthcare centres will be upgraded and made functional, and farmers will be supported with inputs and access to markets to boost food production and rural incomes.
Hon. Haruna further stated that infrastructure development will be a major focus of his tenure. He promised to improve rural and urban roads, water supply, electricity and other critical facilities to stimulate economic growth and ease the daily burden on residents.
He stressed that his government will be transparent, inclusive and accountable, with regular engagement with traditional rulers, youth groups, women and community leaders to ensure that projects reflect the real needs of the people.
“Leadership is service. With your mandate, we will build an Ajaokuta where no one is left behind. We will govern with integrity, work with all, and ensure that the resources of the local government are used for the good of all,” Hon. Haruna added.
Party leaders and supporters who joined the campaign expressed confidence that Hon. Haruna Mohammed Ganaja has the capacity and character to reposition Ajaokuta LGA for growth and prosperity.
The election for chairmanship positions across Kogi State is expected to hold in October this year.
