The Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja, has been described as a loyal, dependable and reliable confidant in the new direction administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
An All Progressives Congress Chieftain in the State, Barr. Bola Fabola made the disclosure in a statement to mark the Deputy Governor’s 47th birthday celebration, described him as a rare being who believes in doing the work of his Principal, Gov. Yahaya Bello in totality with a bid to making Kogi State a positive reference.
The former helmsman of Yagba East LGA and two time Special Adviser in the State, described Chief Onoja as a genius way ahead of his time, appreciated his supportive and contributory roles in the present administration.
According to the statement issued to Newsmen, ” It’s not everyone’s cup of tea to understand your vision and the amount of hard work you are putting into the present administration by working together with His Excellency, Gov. Yahaya Bello to meet the yearning and aspirations of the people of the State. I make bold and without mincing words, to State that the effort has no doubt made our dear State an envy in good governance.
” Your Excellency since our paths crossed, I discovered that you are like a land full of gold and several precious stones that I would never trade for anything particularly when it has to do with ensuring the success of Gov. Yahaya Bello’s administration and in making the State a cynosure of all eyes.
” I appreciate and honor you this day for the joy you have brought into several lives. All that you consist of is unique, reason why you deserve this special honor and even more on this special day.
” Once again, Happy birthday to a man unequalled in deeds. I pray that your selfless contributions in the things you have done to make our state standout, speak good things for you in the years to come. Your generations will come to benefit from the reward that the earth will give to this golden heart of yours. Happy birthday once again to a quintessential and most loyal Deputy Governor”.
Barr. Fabola wished Chief Onoja many more years of service to the State in good health and prosperity, prayed God to grant him the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to remain in service to humanity and Kogi State in particular.
