Halims Greet Muslims At Eid, Charge Muslims To Live Sacrificial Lives

The Chairman of the House Committee on Steel Development and Honorable Member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims have felicitated with Muslim faithfuls marking Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

In an Eid-el-Kabir message issued on Monday, the Honorable Member ‘’prayed that Almighty Allah will accept the pilgrimage of those in the holy land and bless the efforts of those who will offer sacrifice.’’

Halims called for ‘’reflections on the spirit of sacrifice and resilience displayed by Prophet Ibrahim(AS) to God’s instruction and admonished Muslims on upholding same, especially as it has to do with nation building.’’

The Federal Lawmaker urged ‘’the Muslim community to keep hope alive, to continue to practice compliance with health guidelines and not to relent in prayers for an end to the disruptions, especially the suspension of Holy Pilgrimage of Foreign countries caused by Covid-19.’’

The statement further appealed to all communities in Akpa Federal Constituency and Kogi State at large, to uphold peace and harmony, urging ‘’all residents to observe security alertness, practice regular hygiene in order to protect everyone from COVID-19 Delta Variance.’’

While wishing all His Constituents a very happy celebration, Halims reassured them of his commitment towards upholding the good representation He is known for, Constituency Development and humanitarian services.
