It is axiomatic that Hon. Adejo Halidu Usman is the incumbent member representing Idah Local Government at the Kogi State House of Assembly and has performed magic barely three months he assumed office.
I can assure you that you won’t meet this man and not fall in love with his charming cultivated intellect and inimitable humility, barely three months in office, he has shown and exhibited uncommon wisdom, remarkable vision, and exemplary leadership of ethics and morality. Halidu USMAN KOGI as popularly called is delectable in appearance, attitude and brain.
No wonder Hon. Halidu came forth among many others who contested with him at the APC primary, during his manifesto, he gave a very rich and convincing blue print of what he intend to achieve if elected, he pledged to run an open door policy, carry along the vulnerable men, women and youth of the constituency he intend to represent.
Hon. Halidu is a unifier and he has demonstrated that many times, immediately after his victory from the APC house of assembly primary, he began to meet with his co contestants, cementing all the wounds with immediacy.
The crux of this piece is how Hon. Halidu is keeping to his pre-election promises of public representation, Hon. Halidu told the Idah electorates that his ambition of going into the Kogi State House of Assembly as member is not selfish but for the interest of the entire populace of Idah Local Government, he promised to share everything, Including his monthly salary among the vulnerable women, men and youth of Idah Local Government until he is able to at least reduce poverty in Idah local government to it bearest minimum, although many persons doubted as those words have become music in the ears of electorates but it will interest you to know that the Honorable member representing Idah at the Kogi State House of Assembly has not deviated from those promises but rather keeping to them accordingly.
Hon. Halidu in his magnanimity and proven integrity gathered not less than one hundred persons from his immediate ward (Sabongari ward), gave them a very light refreshments and shared his first take home salary to all of them, when I said shared his take home salary, I mean he shared everything.
Hon. Halidu never stopped there, he moved to Igala-ogba ward and replicated the same gesture by empowering another set of beneficiaries with his salary and today he is in Ugwoda ward doing the same gesture, he has promised to round the whole wards in Idah Local Government in due time then starts again with new set.
It is on this note, I want to say the people of Idah local government has once again gotten that leader who is a ladder to the people, the most amazing part is, among the beneficiaries are other tribes who resides in Idah, what a unifier.
He has equally assured his constituents of his continual efforts in bringing home dividends of democracy.
Indeed Hon. Adejo Halidu Usman Kogi is a Man of his words.
