Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko receives thunderous reception in Bassa

The current thank you visits embarked upon by the state Accountant General of the state, Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko to the twenty one Council Areas of the state has lightened the All Progressives Congress (APC) dominance in Kogi State.
Known for her hard work and motherly discipline, Kogi State Accountant General, Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko combined the busy schedules of her office and created time to carry the message of her Boss, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to the council Areas of the state.
On Tuesday, Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko took the governor’s thank you message to Oguma the headquarters of Bassa Local Government Area. She was received by a mammoth crowd which besieged the Universal Basic education primary school field Oguma to welcome her. The field was full to capacity While sea of heads could be seen by a long the primary school participating in the welcome visit of Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko to Oguma the headquarters of Bassa Local Government Area. While delivering her message to the good people of Bassa at the Oguma SUBEB primary school field, Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko said, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo sent her to thank the good people of Bassa for voting him overwhelmingly in the November 2023 governorship election.
In her words ” It is not time for campaigns yet so we are not campaigning here today. I am here simply to deliver a thank you message from His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for voting him en masse in the November 2023 governorship election in Kogi State.” She added that His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is in love with all the electorates of Kogi State noting that the governor will continue to discharge his duty with the fear of Allah to all the residents of Kogi State.
Responding on the request of the people for the construction of roadst, the State Accountant General, Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko said His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has already mapped out all the rural roads in the state for construction and Bassa Local Government Area would not be left out. She stressed that the governor is a grassroots leader and politician deeply concerned on the welfare of the people of the state.
Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko thanked the people of Bassa for their continued support to the Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo led-administration in the state and urged them to keep promoting the governor for his good services to the people of the state .
Earlier, the Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area, Hon Theophilus Adama with the political appointees from Bassa who received the State Accountant General, Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko to Bassa said the people of Bassa are overwhelmed with the performance of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the state. He thanked the governor for always sending palliatives to cushion the sufferings of the people, appointments of so many Bassa indigines into his cabinet, restoration of full salaries to Local Government workers, enhancement of monthly pay packets to all the Pensioners in the state etc etc. He maintained that Bassa people remain solidly behind the administration of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
On his part the commissioner of Commerce and industry, Hon Shaibu Muktar applauded the state Accountant General, Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko for embarking on the thank you visit to Bassa. He said Bassa is totally APC and APC is Bassa.
The member representing Bassa State constituency, Hon Sunday Daku thanked Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for sending the State Accountant General, Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko for a thank you visit to the people of Bassa. He assured the governor that Bassa people have no other party but APC and also retrieted the support of the people of Bassa to the governor at all times.
The Senior Special Assistant on information and communication strategy, Hon. Chris Ben-Kato who busy monitoring the coverage of the visit of the State Accountant General, Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko told reporters in Oguma that he was overwhelmed by the performance of the Chief Servant of the state, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in so short a time. He further said the good people of Bassa are in full support of the laudable programmes of the governor across the state and would continue to give the governor maximum support in his administration.
The Executive Director Oil producing Area Board, Alhaji Nda Muhammed said the people of Bassa are overwhelmed by the visit of the state Accountant General to the people of Bassa. He noted that Bassa people would ever remain committed to the administration of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The Secretary of Kogi State Universal Basic Board (SUBEB), Hon Alhassan Adakeke thanked the State Accountant General, Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko for taking time out of her busy schedules to bring the good will message of the governor to the people of Bassa.
The Aguma of Bassa and President Bassa traditional Council, His Royal Highness, William Keke thanked the Accountant General, Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko for bringing the good will message of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to the people of Bassa. He prayed for peace in Kogi State and wished the governor a successful tenure of office. The Aguma was at the occasion with the Shaba of Kpata kingdom who represented the Etsu Bassa Nge Brig (rtd) Abi Ali and the Ohiagba of Mozum HRH Bukar Khalid Ali.

Highlight of the momentous occasion was the empowerment of the Bassa chapter of FAWWAS by the State Accountant General, Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko.
