As promised by the Kogi State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Gov. Yahaya Bello that no road in Kogi State will be neglected under his watchful eyes.
Here is another ongoing road construction at bolorunduro road in Kabba, Kogi west senatorial district under the strict supervision of dynamic, capable, and energetic Commissioner for works and Housing Engr. Dr. Abubakar Ohere FNSE,.
Speaking today during the supervision of this project the Hon. Commissioner, “hinged on the quality of the work urged the contractors to increase the pace in order to meet up with the stipulated time.”
Engr. Ohere assured the good people of Kogi west that the state Government and contractors are working to meet the deadline, and at the same time, subjecting all the work to quality assurance tests for efficient service delivery.
He expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done so far, noting: “We are working to increase the pace of the work. You can see that work is going on simultaneously in major part of the state this is “Let’s do more mantra” His Excellency promise the good people of Kogi State, Engr. Ohere stated.
He appealed to road users to bear the discomfort being experienced on this road for now as a result of blockades and diversions, stressing that it was unavoidable wherever a construction work of such magnitude was going on coupled with the volume of traffic on the road.
He pointed out that while some sections of the road were at different levels of completion, palliative/remedial works were being carried out on some critically dilapidated sections to facilitate the movement of motorists.
The new roads in Kogi West will also catalysed the growth of new small and medium businesses along the roads, and enhanced in social and economic activities in the state. God Bless His Excellency, Gov. Yahaya Adoza Bello for keeping to his words.
