A group under the aegis of “Team Alimikhena” has advised former Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo, to seek to enlist in the Presidential race and not engage in an unnecessary battle of wit with Senator Francis Alimikhena.
The group handed down this advice in a signed press statement by the convener, Mr Sunny Ifijen and Secretary, Omeiza Ogumah.
They urged the former governor not to be carried away with the fake endorsements been hatchet and publish in various media platforms by some selfish and evil minded individuals who aimed is to cause crisis in the party.
The Team Alimikhena also warned that aside pursuing their personal interest, the evil merchants want to place a wedge in the harmonious relationship that Oshiomhole and Alimikhena have enjoyed over the years
According to the statement, “If those dragging Oshiomhole to seek for the Edo North senate seat are guinuinely concern about the progress of Oshiomhole, they should have advised him to enlist for the Presidency which have practically been zoned to the South.
“Of course, they won’t because their aim will not be realised from this, rather, only see their evil ways manifesting through the Edo North senatorial seat.
“As part of their hatched plans, they have occupied themselves with the task of spreading fake and in some cases, falsed endorsement that is not in tune with the reality in the senatorial district.
“IThose of us who genuinely wish Oshiomole well have advised him to stabilize Edo North APC by allowing incumbent Senator & memebrs of the House of Representatives return in 2023.
“Oshiomole should enlist for Presidency alongside Amaechi,Osibanjo,Tinubu, Yahaya Bello and others, that is how a leader should get a bigger deal for his people.”
