Group Felicitates Chief Edward Meseko For Bagging Leadership in Community Development Award.
The Truth is light Political Frontier, Yagba Federal Constituency has described the award of Leadership in Community Development, conferred on Chief Edward Meseko, Business Tycoon by the Nigerian Post Newspaper as well deserved.
Chief Edward Meseko was conferred with the Outstanding Leadership in Community Development Award at the Kogi @ 34 The Nigerian Post Newspaper Annual Public Lecture, activities organized to celebrate the State creation.
Chief Edward Meseko is a business tycoon and politician from Mopamuro LGA of Yagba Federal Constituency, has been in the habit of philanthropy and Community Development.
The group urged Chief Edward to throw his hat in the ring for the 2027 Yagba Federal Constituency election, described him as best fit for representation.
In a statement issued by Ola John Michael, spokesman of the group, urged the APC to offer Chief Edward the option of first refusal, pointing out that the Yagba Federal Constituency House of Representative seat is the turn of Mopamuro LGA.
They described the award conferred on Chief Edward as an award for individuals who have been selfless, with penchant to do more with their God given resources and in using the instrumentality of representation if given to the opportunity.
The group aligned itself with the commendations made by several participants at the award presentation, described Chief Edward as a thorough breed politician who’s passion for his people to serve meritoriously knows no bound.
The group described Chief Edward as a politician that is not the usual politician, different from the average politician, added that his words are his bond, expressed appreciation for the recognition done him.
While noting that Chief Edward’s commitment to serve his people remains commendable, urged him to continue in his trajectory of service to humanity, pointing out that he has over the years with his resources justified his love for the people of Yagba federal Constituency.
Recalled that in their separate remarks, the Ohimegye Igu Kingdom HRM Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu, Prof. Salisu Usman Ogbo and Comr. Idris Miliki and others, described Chief Edward Meseko as a round peg in a round hole.
