A youth body under the umbrella of Ileteju Progressive Youths, following a monthly meeting held Sunday have endorsed and canvassed support for one of their own; Comrade Rachael Mojirola Balogun as their sole candidate for the position of President, in the National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS) forth coming elections.
The Youth Group in a statement signed by its president, Comrade Olawumi Tunde, urged Kogi students across board and NAKOSS National Stakeholders to support the candidate to emerge.
In his statement, Tunde noted that over time, Miss Mojirola have been actively involved in unionism, where she has been opportuned to serve at different levels and capacities, including becoming president of National Association of Okun Students, Federal University Lokoja Chapter in 2018 and National President, Ijumu Students Union in the year 2019.
Asserting that the NAKOSS Presidential aspirant is a strong believer in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects, the group’s president revealed that Mojirola is the founder of the Social Entrepreneurship Initiative; an online entrepreneurial class for young generations in Kogi State.
Describing the young lady and student of the Federal University Lokoja as a genuine lover of politics, with the interest of the people at heart, he also pointed out that she had excelled in other leadership positions as Director of Education, Okun Youth Development Association; National Coordinator, Nigeria Youth For Change and State Secretary at Kogi Women For One Voice, to mention but few.
