Again our attention has been drawn to an obnoxious press release signed and circulated by two unscrupulous elements-Angela Ekunkwe and Chris Osas Emovon respectively, titled : *VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE AND SUSPENSION OF UHUMWONDE LOCAL GOVERNMENT APC CHAIRMAN, HON. OSAYEMWENRE OSAWE*
We want to use this medium to reiterate to the great people and members of APC in Uhunmwode Local Government Area in particular and the Public in general to be calm and these evil perpetrators will be fished out and dealt with accordingly as stated in the APC Party Constitution and Hon. Osayemwenre Osawe remains the APC Party Chairman in Uhunmwonde LGA with *VOTE OF CONFIDENCE* placed on his Leadership by the authentic Party members.
Those already fingered in the above illegal and failed evil plots against the leadership of APC LGA Party Chairman and some Ward Chairmen in Uhunmwonde are as indicated below;
1. The suspended Federal House of Representatives Member representing the Uhunmwonde and Orhionmwon Federal Constituency – Hon. Chief Billy Osawaru, who was allegedly suspended by his Ward Chairman/Ward Executives recently for his High-handedness, Anti-party and Embezzlement of Party Funds (about N38 million naira) met to pay Party Agents during the 2024 Governorship election, which made him loss his Unit and Ward to the PDP Uhunmwonde.
2. Hon. Samson Osagie who was a former State and Federal Legislator in the Uhunmwode/Orhionmwon Federal Constituency that was recently *appointed* and *suspended* as Edo State Attorney General by the Edo State Government led by Senator Monday Okpebholo for his involvement in Financial Infractions and other Anti-party Activities.
3. The so called Apex Leader of Uhunmwonde APC – Hon. Osazee Imasogie who recently betrayed his APC Uhunmwonde by donating the sum of N20 million naira to PDP Asue Ighodalo Campaign team through his father who is a strong PDP Leader in Uhunmwonde, thereby playing Anti-party games with the APC Uhunmwonde thereby making him loss his Unit and Ward to PDP during the Governorship election of 2024.
4. Hon. Roland Alari, who conducted and oversee the purported evil/failed meeting at his goat-meat restaurant along Medical Stores Road, Benin City where fake attendance lists was originated and Hon. Alari who presided over the failed meeting couldn’t sign on the fake lists of attendees with proxy signatures circulating the internet which obviously shows cowardice and lack of integrity of purpose in his part.
We members of the *CONCERNED UHUNMWONDE APC MEMBERS* want to state that the Leadership of Uhunmwonde APC is *INTACT AND RESILIENT* in bringing the dividends of Democracy to the people of Uhunmwonde as projected by the amiable Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo under the supervision of the Chairman Hon. Osayemwenre Osawe.
We hereby call on the State Executives of APC in Edo State to as a matter of urgency *SUSPEND* the above mentioned Individuals and Enemies of Progress of APC Uhunmwonde for Gross Misconduct, Financial Infractions, Anti-party and Promoting Violent Attack on the Party LGA and Ward Chairmen for they are Birds of the same who do not mean well for Party in Uhunmwonde LGA.
*PARTY IS SUPREME!!!* The party structure is bigger than any individual or group who do not mean well for Leadership and Members of the party in Uhunmwonde LGA.
