Group Condemns Onochie’s Suspension By APC

The G37 Political Support Group has condemned the suspension of the Chairperson of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Lauretta Onochie by the leadership of All Progressive Congress, APC in Onicha-Olona , ward 4 in Aniocha North in Delta State.

In a statement on Saturday in Portharcourt, Rivers state, National Coordinator of the group, Comrade Evans City said the purported suspension is a mischief taken too far.
He challenged the party executives to come forward with the proof of their allegations adding that accusation can not be true going by the physical demonstration of the NDDC boss during the campaign for general elections .

He said Onochie was at the forefront campaigning for the All Progressive Congress, APC in South- South .

“ It is unthinkable to say that Loretta campaigned for the opposition, People’s Democratic Party, PDP and Atiku Abubakar . The script was poorly executed because the handlers failed to remember that Atiku had an impending litigation against Onochie due to 2019 Presidential election.”

The youth activist further alleged that the APC executives may have been sponsored by detractors who have been hell- bent in ensuring the NDDC boss is removed from office .The group therefore called on the national leadership of the party to wade into the matter and get it resolved amicably .
