Group Cautions Party Spokesmen, Presidential Candidates Over Inciting Statements

The President of Riverine Peace Initiative in Niger Delta,Comrade Mulade Toluwa has joined voice with the National Peace Committee led by Gen. Abudusalami Abubaka (NPC) to cautioned Presidential Candidates and their spokesmen to desist from making inciting statements capable of causing violence in the country.

In a release signed by the president, Comrade Mulade Toluwa and made available to Newsmen said , that every Nigeria must work to ensure the 2023 general election remain violence free.

He said, Nigeria has come a long way and would not allow careless political statement to separete the unity and peace that has been nurtured over the years.

Comrade Mulade who has championed the peace in Niger Delta through his Peace Initiative organization stressed that every Nigeria must work to ensure the 2023 general election remain violence free.

He further said that his organization,the Riverine Peace Initiative in Niger Delta waded into a security issue that could have caused crisis between Nigeria and Turkey government in the year 2019.

According to him, Nine (9) Turkish Nationals who were kidnapped by militants in the high Sea were rescued by his organization , he said these and so many other peace moves peace loving individuals and organizations are sacrificing in their capacity to ensure Nigeria remain united.

He however further noted that the Presidential Candidates should call their spokesmen to order and ensure their campaign are issue based. What, they want to do for the people and not dwelling on trivialities.

He called on Nigerians to go and pick up their registered PVCs as INEC has announced collection dates., “the 2023 general election is so special that all lapses should be covered.”

Comrade Toluwa charged Nigerians to ensure that they don’t sell their votes in the upcoming election. “ Nigerians should shun the habit of watching from afar and begin to cultivate the spirit of participating in the process that produces credible leaders.”

He enjoined other Governors to emulate Gov. Emmanuel Udom by putting God first in all their activities.

According to him, the 2023 general election is a pointer to the fact that if the citizens refuse to play their role by allowing their votes to count, then, they should be ready for worst situations ahead.

He further charged Nigerian People to ensure they participate in the voting process and remain steadfast that this Country will change for better.

Meanwhile, he took a swipe on Nigerians who were attacking Mercy Chinwo, the popular Gospel Artist for ministering in PDP rally at Oyo in Akwa Ibom.

Comrade Toluwa lambasted Nigerians who believes that Christians are not supposed to participate in political activities in their countries.

He reminded Mercy Chinwo accusers of the Priest in Seychelles who was elected President of the country in October 26th, 2020.

According to him, the Gospel Artists ministration can lead to the electorates electing a credible candidate in the upcoming election
