We Are United Nigeria Movement has described a statement credited to Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Wing, Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC)
that there will be more no Nigeria in 2023 as unfortunate, and not expected from leaders of tommorrow.
The We Are United Nigeria Movement says Nigeria would Outlive Sectional and mundane Interest, described the statement of Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) as wishful thinking.
We Are United Nigeria Movement in a statement signed by Hon Felix Tolurunju Idowu, expressed worry that the language of Ohanaeze Youth Council is not only divisive and inflammatory, condemns it in its entirety.
While it calls on the Ohanaeze Youth Council to in the interest of the Unity and togetherness that is being clamoured for by well meaning citizens of the Nation, withdraw its statement, pointing out that the country needs now is a show of understanding.
The We Are United Nigeria Movement appealed to Nigerians to be mindful of their utterances, pointing out that while the country will no doubt surmount its present challenges, disclosed that we are stronger together as a nation.
Recalled that the National President of OYC, Igboayaka. O Igboayaka, in a statement to amongst other things have said: “In all ramifications, there will be no Nigeria if APC and PDP fail to field an Igbo person as their presidential candidate in 2023”.
