Graduation: Executive Director CPI Stresses Need For Empowerment Through Skill Acquisition


 

The need to make empowerment, through acquiring skills by Nigerians has been described as the way to go in view of the high level of unemployment in the Country.

 

 

Eunice Agbogun, Executive Director, Challenged Parenthood Initiatives made the disclosure at the maiden graduation of thirty five graduants of
EJG ventures, Rozzy caterine Services Lokoja.

According to the Executive Director CPI, the knowledge and skills acquired would go a long way in ameliorating the challenges posed by the high unemployment level in the country.

 

She expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the Head of School of EJG Ventures and Catering Services,
Akubo Roseline Adejoh for empowering women and the youths with skills, said with the knowledge acquired, they can positively stand on there own and to be contributors to the nation’s economy.

The CPI Director notes that the place of good foods and healthy living in the lives of the people cannot be over emphasized, as such commended the courage exhibited by the graduants in taking to acquiring catering skills.

Aside going to be self employed, she explained that the graduants would be self employed, added that they would be of value to there families, the society’and to the economy.

The CPI Director appealed to Government at all levels, well to do individuals, corporate organizations and the Civil Society’ Organizations to take the advantage of the opportunities presented by EJG Ventures and Rozzy Catering Services to sponsor persons to acquire skills that would be beneficial to them in view of the high rate of unemployment.

Speaking at the occasion, Akubo Roseline Adejoh, head of school EJG Ventures and Rozzy Catering Services said the school is graduating its first set of graduants, numering thirty five, comprising of male and females.

She added that the graduants were taking through various courses in cooking, catering and baking, described them as people totally groomed to positively impact there environment and take the sector by storm.
