Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA pays the 10% counterpart fund….
His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello has once again demonstrated his pro-people leadership ideology and avowed commitment to use his God given office to drive development down to the people, especially in the rural areas of the state. Its on this stance, the Governor approved a 10million Naira project for Bagido Community Road construction through Community Social Development Agency(CSDA).
The sum of N8,832,442.50 was released from the total sum and well received by Bagido Community Project Management Committee for the construction of internal roads in the community through the help of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello and relentless effort of the Honourable Commissioner, who payed the 10% counterpart fund for the project, domiciled at the Community Social Development Agency(CSDA).
Asiwaju said, It’s in fulfilment of my social contract with the people to always advance their course and attract development as the opportunity suffices.
In his words “Bagido Community can now have a deep sigh of relief as their internal roads will now wear a new look through the project. This developmental effort is geared towards complementing the wonderful works of my boss and leader, His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello at the grassroot”.
He said, that other communities will be captured in the subsequent releases which will span the areas of Health, Education, Agriculture, Women and Youth Empowerment. We started the road construction as a pilot scheme, which will open a vista of development for many other communities, Asiwaju stated.
During the flag off of the road today, Bagido Community through the Project management Committee, expressed their deepest gratitude to the Honourable Commissioner for attracting home such huge developmental project, saying indeed, he’s a leader that’s progressive and worthy of high commendation. They also Promised without equivocation to give their support and cooperation to him and the New Direction Government of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello.
