Governor Ododo’s visit to Yagba West; Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA Expresses deep Appreciation, says it has brought a soothing relief
The Honourable commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning who doubles as an illustrious son of Yagba Land, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA has expressed his heart of gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA for his timely visit to the insecurity ridden communities in yagba west Local Government, saying the Governors presence has brought a soothing relief and triggered a new sense of hope.
Asiwaju notes that His Excellency’s visit has once again brought to the fore his empathetic and compassionate nature, much more, his endearing leadership style that’s unwaveringly focused on the wellbeing, welfare and security of the people. The good people of Yagba west now have a sigh of relief that they have an administration that cares for them, Mukadam stated
The Honourable commissioner said in recent times some communities in the Local Government has been badly battered emotionally, piercingly traumatized and made to live in palpable fear due to the reckless killing, kidnapping and unrest caused bandits. This has been a disturbing source of concern for all – political class, traditional rulers, religious leaders, elites and everyone in the know.
The Governors presence in those communities to listen to their plights, engage with necessary quarters and assure of government drastic action is more than symbolic, it’s a healing for our people and a positive validation on Governor Ododo led government.
In his words” I can not appreciate His Excellency enough for showing compassion, yet courageous leadership by not front loading directive from his plum office, rather he step into the insecurity ridden communities to have a firsthand experience. This is an exemplar of humane leadership and an administration that cares and the people of Okoloke, Okunran, Isanlu esa and Yagba west in general now have a renewed hope and sense of belonging under the present government they help to enthrone.”
