As the whole country and beyond continue to applaud the indefatigable governor of Kogi State, on the auspicious occasion of his 100 days in office,a renowned international tourism expert, Hajia Bilqis Abdul, has praised Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman for his efforts in developing the tourism sector in the state.
Hajia Abdul noted with pride that the last 100 days witnessed an audacious and innovative efforts by the governor to hannes the full potentials of that critical sector of the economy.
According to the expert, Alhaji Ododo have shown his readiness and total proactive initiatives to reap the full benefits of the tourism sector in the years ahead.
It will be recalled that the governor recently commissioned a team of tourism experts to undertake a holistic tour of tourism sites in all the three senatorial districts in the state.
Hajia Abdul is the leader of the team.
This pragmatic initiative is a clear demonstration that the governor is fully committed to harnessing the untapped full benefits of that critical sector of the economy.
The 7- man experts have since completed the first phase of their statewide tours, while arrangements are ongoing to commence the final legs of the tour.
Hajia Abdul disclosed that the team were amazed that the state is sitting on a gold mine that would shore up the internally generated revenue,IGR of the state when fully and properly harnessed in the years ahead.
She prays for continued wisdom, good health, Sound mind and the general safety of the governor in the years ahead.
Hajia Abdul called on the good people of the state to continue in their unalloyed supports for the administration of the amiable governor, going forward.
