Assuming office on January 27, 2024, Ododo, a former Auditor-General for Local Governments, brought a wealth of experience in public finance and grassroots administration. His early initiatives focused on enhancing healthcare and education, implementing youth empowerment programs, and driving infrastructure development across the state’s 21 local government areas. These efforts have resonated with local communities, leading to widespread endorsement from local government chairmen and ward councillors, who view him as a symbol of stability and progress.
