Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed says the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Adoza Bello with his experiences and measures adopted in tackling and managing the State, is the best option to shape the Nigerian Government and end insecurity.
The Deputy Speaker who gave a remark on behalf of members of Kogi State House of Assembly at the conference of Speakers of Nigeria, held at the glasshouse Lokoja, Kogi State yesterday noted that, Kogi State under the leadership of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has scored excellently in several sectors; the massive result in the revenue base of the State, the Tax Reforms which has impacted positively on the finances of the state, reforms in agriculture and health sector, youth and women inclusion in politics, insecurity has been brought to minimal, suffice to state without equivocation that If a state, country or continent is not safe, investors will not come in for business. This are areas our Governor in his wisdom has scored excellently. He called on the speakers of the thirty six states present at the conference to carry the message of a new Nigeria under Yahaya Bello to their various states as he is a man who can be trusted at this trial times in Nigeria.
The Deputy Speaker appreciates the young and energetic Governor of Kogi State for hosting Speakers of the 36 states House of Assembly, describing the Governor as a man who has built stronger ties with the legislative arm of government. He assures the Governor of mutual relationship and cooperation for a better Nigeria. He also appreciates members of the assembly ably championed by the Speaker Rt. Hon. Prince Kolawole and applauded his style of leadership and unity amongst colleagues.
