Gov. Yahaya Bello, backbone behind PAAU’s unhindered academic calendar – Prof. Marietu Ohunene Tenuche


 

The Vice Chancellor, Prince Abubakar Audu University, Prof. Marietu Ohunene Tenuche has described Gov. Yahaya Bello as the backbone of the five years unhindered academic calendar the Institution has witnessed.

 

The Vice Chancellor, made the disclosure when she received in audience the Members of the Nigeria Union of Journalist, 2022 Press Week and Media Parley Committee, said the Institution wouldn’t have made the much talked about development without the support of Gov. Bello in funding amongst other support.

The Vice Chancellor described as outstanding the funding support the institution is enjoying from the present administration, said it has enabled the University record full accreditation of all it courses, improve infrastructure, said the Institution has never had it so good running an unbroken calendar for five years.

The Vice Chancellor added that the institution is able to record zero tolerance to insecurity because of the support from the present administration, expressed appreciation to Gov. Bello for the turn around in infrastructure development of the institution.

Prof. Tenuche explained that the ongoing achievements PAAU Anyigba has recorded in the last five years has made a destination for students seeking admission, said it wouldn’t have been possible without Gov. Bello’s support.

The Vice Chancellor assured of her commitment to taking the University to the heights expected of the present administration, commended Gov. Bello for his love for the educational sector of the State, with the PAAU Anyigba as dear to his heart.

While pointing out she would continue to partner with the media in showcasing the efforts of the present administration in the University, said having recognized the power of the media, promised to sustain a cordial working relationship with the Kogi State NUJ.

Earlier in a remarks, Jerry Ocheme, Chairman of the 2022 Media Parley Committee landed the efforts to reposition PAAU Anyigba by the Vice Chancellor, added that the visit is part of activities soliciting support for the 2022 NUJ Press Week
