Governor Yahaya has made giant strides in tackling the most pressing monsters facing Nigeria in the state, SECURITY and UNITY, these have made people to repose confidence in him as a person who can govern the country to bring about unity and restore security of lives and properties.
Governor Yahaya Bello’s sterling leadership qualities, wealth of experience, clarity of purpose, love and political sagacity are not in doubt, these account for his remarkable and outstanding achievements over the years.
Governor Yahaya Bello, without doubt has surpassed his contemporaries in terms of youths and women inclusion in governance, he is the only governor in Nigeria history who has over 35% women in governance both elected and appointed, over 50% youth inclusiveness in governance.
Infrastructure, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello is a silent achiever devoid of noise. Despite the dwindling allocation and revenue to the state in the face of competing demands by all sectors of the state, projects are constructed virtually in all zones in the state, needless to mention, you can find out.
To state the recent, mouth are bound to wag the excitement that rented the air following the astute political will of the governor, GYB in the establishment of Omi Rice mill and Confluence University which kick started immediately with hundreds of job opportunities.
One further proofs that Governor Yahaya Bello is upbeat about the future of Nigeria is the manner in which he has sustained peace among the diverse tribes in the state. For the first time in over twenty years, relative peace has been achieved in Kogi State. This has been possible due to the balanced nature of appointments. GYB as a detribalized leader does not allow his appointments to be skewed to a particular tribe as it used to be. This is one of the complaints that is creating distrust and agitations in Nigeria this will be corrected when GYB becomes the President.
The colour of legacy of good governance of GYB will beautify the painful, unfruitful and stultified dark political trajectory of the past Nigerian leaders who have subjected the country into Political and Economic quagmire.
Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello is a Presidential candidate to beat, he was the only governor who with his strategy prevented COVID 19 spread in Kogi state and refused to join political tomfoolery staged by all governors during the pandemic era. Because of these, he earned the rectitude and respect across the states .
GYB has written history in terms of milestones achievements as a governor and these will be replicated and improved upon as President come 2023 insha Allah. GYB is a candidate to beat.
