Gov. Bello’s administration resolutely committed to delivering more infrastructure


 

The Kogi State Commissioner for Works Engr. Abubakar Sadiq Ohere has promised that Governor Yahaya Bello’s led administration would redouble its effort in ensuring that more infrastructure development are delivered to the state within the remaining few years.

Engr. Ohere gave the assurance shortly after he received an award of excellence as Icon of Quality Service Delivery Award from Kogi State Chapter of Nigeria Union of Journalists as part of its activities for the 2021 press week held at NUJ press centre, Lokoja .

According to him, the current administration would provide the needed infrastructure to boost the economy and turn the fortune of the state for better.

“We will redouble our effort in ensuring that within the little time left for us, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello would do more for the state which is the mantra of this administration.

“That is why we are resolute in ensuring that the giant Ganaja Junction flyover is completed on record time with the stipulate quality to address the incessant gridlock that over the years has crippled the economy of the state.

“We are also putting more infrastructure that will guarantee investors to come into the state and invest their money. With these, more jobs will be created and the economy of the state will improve for better” he assured.

Engr. Ohere who dedicated the award to Governor Yahaya Bello , assured the general public that the award bestowed on him would spur him to increase his capacity and showcase most of the content of the new direction policies of the state government that are very meaningful to the people of the state.

“No matter how positive are my potentials and ability to do work, without the blessing of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello who introduced me to the media, I may not have the opportunity to showcase my worth, so I owe every thing after God to Governor Yahaya Bello who has brought me to limelight.

“I want to also appreciate the Kogi State Council of NUJ for deeming it fit to recognize and reward me for the little effort and contribution I have made to the development of the state.

“By special grace of God I will not renege in the effort and dexterity that propelled the union to chose me out of many political appointees that has served this state in different capacity” he said.
