GOV. BELLO @TWO INTO SECOND TERM : ELDER CLEMENT OHIDA SAYS PERIOD IMPRESSIVE, EVENTFUL, AND RESULTS ORIENTED .


 

As the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello’ clocks two years into his second term in office, the Kogi state Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Elder, Comrade Clement Ohida has described the period under review as very impressive, eventful, and results oriented .

Elder Ohida in a felicitation message to the Governor and the citizens of the state which was made available to Newsmen in Lokoja today, observed that in the last six years under the pragmatic leadership of Alhaji Yahaya Bello , the state and its people have witnessed empirical human and infrastructural transformation.

The State leader of the Pensioners essentially identified the Security of life and prosperities of the citizens through the reformed in the security architectures and the humongous human and material resources investment .

He revealed that the citizens and travellers as a criss cross state could now travel to their destination points thereby encouraged the influx of local and foreign investors leading to socio-economic development of the young but fast growing confluence state.

Elder Ohida equally gave the Governor a pat on the back for the establishment of the Conference University of Science and Technology Osara and the revitalization of the ailing Education sector .

According to him, the state the period under note had observed tremendous and verifiable Roads rehabilitation and reconstruction especially the face lift given to Lokoja the state capital .

Elder Ohida explained that Retired Public Officers have had their share of the Governor’s positive discretion to governance and expressed explicit hope that all the demands and requests putforward by the Union would be addressed to alleviate the suffering of the Senior Citizens who have in the past contributed immensely to the state”s growth.

He prayed God in His benevolence and grace to continued to empower the Governor with soud health, wisdom, knowledge, and above all renewed strength in a collective task to rebuilding the state.
