The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources Engr. Bashiru Gegu has felicitated with the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello on his 48th birthday, described Gov. Bello as a remarkable and spectacular personality who is a pride, has made the welfare of Kogi people as his major priority.
The Commissioner in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja described the 48th years birthday of Gov. Bello as worthy of celebration, particularly that his administration revolves around the people and their well-being.
Engr Bashiru thanked God Almighty for protecting the life of Gov. Yahaya Bello and also for helping him to bring up rapid and positive development across Kogi State.
Engr. Bashiru notes with emphasis that never in the State history have any administration made the provision of infrastructure like has been witnessed under Gov. Bello cardinal.
” Your Excellency without sounding immodest, I’m an encyclopedia of your legacies. Your impact in rural roads and electrification remains a watershed. Permit me to mention that your intervention in education remains historic with the Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara, and now the Okun University. Your landmarks in the Health sector culminating in institutions like the reference Hospital Okene just to mention but a few across the State marks you out as a go getter.
” Your Excellency, you broke several jinx with the establishment of a flyover bridge in Lokoja amongst several other history making projects that you embarked upon for the present and coming generation. Your Excellency, history will certainly be kind to you because in all ramifications of governance, you came, saw and conquered ”
