The Kwara State Governor, His Excellency governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has charged the 2024 Batch A Stream 2 Corps Members to get prepared in contributing their quota to the national development.

Governor Abdulrahman speaking through his Senior Special Adviser on at the swearing in ceremony at NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Yikpata said, as citizen ,their youthful vigour should be deployed to the development of the country.

In his words “ Onus rests on you to be physically, psychologically and socially ready to face rigours of nation building as full fledge Nigeria Adults, who are well imbued with the attributes of good citizenship and patriotism “

The state of harmony first citizen also  justify the confidence trusted in  them by the government “ I want you to justify the confidence reposed in you as a leaders of this great nation by making patriotism, discipline, good conduct, honesty and hard-work your watchwords throughout the duration of the course and thereafter”

 

The governor further pledge a continued support to the welfare and security of Corps Members currently serving and newly deployed to the state for their National Service, adding that his administration has contributed immensely to youth development in the state.

Meanwhile, the State Coordinator, NYSC Kwara, Mr Onifade Olaoluwa in his welcome address appreciated the governor for his support .

He however, appealed to the stakeholders to compliment the efforts of the government by making  their presence felt on the camp through erecting structures and embacon the projects that would be beneficial to the corps members and other camp participants. He said NYSC is people’s oriented project and such should enjoy support of all stakeholders in the state.
