Gabi Sayadi Of Eggan Engr Faruq Takes Thank-You Visit To Rogan Of Eggan, Thanks Him For Honouring Him

Engr Yahaya Danladi Faruq with his family and Friends have paid a thank you visit to His Royal Highness Rogan Of Eggan, Alhassan Muhammed Umoru, over the conferment of traditional title of Gabi Sayadi Of Eggan on him.
Speaking on behalf of the family and friends, the Chief Imam of Lokoja, Sheikh Aminu Shaban said they visited the Emir to register their utmost appreciation to Eggan Emirate Council for finding their brother, Engr Yahaya Danladi Faruq worthy of the very important title of Gabi Sayadi Of Eggan Chiefdom.
According to the Chief Imam, the Emir’s decision to confer the title on Engr Faruq is thoughtful and insightful.
“We his family and friends know his contributions to the development of Lokoja local government area and Kogi State in general, thus the honour is in recognition of such.” he said.
Rt. Hon. Alfa Imam, the former Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly thanked the Royal Father for honouring Engr Faruq.
In his response, the Emir said that the appointment of the Engr Faruq as the Gabi Sayadi Of Eggan is based on his meritorious service, saying that the Emirate confers traditional titles to only those who deserve them.
He hoped that the conferment of the title on Engr Yahaya Danladi Faruq will lead to more blessings to the society.
The monarch thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for his giant strides toward the betterment of the society and prayed to Almighty Allah to bring more development, peace and tranquility to Kogi State.
In attendance during the thank you visit are; the Hakimis of Maigari of Lokoja, top government officials, politicians, Islamic Clerics and a host of others.
