Edo people have be admonished to keep faith alive in whatever situations they find themselves as God has His own plan to send a helper where it is least expected to come from.
Fr Andrew Obiyan gave the admonition in a prayer section organized by Christian Market Fellowship, Edo State Chapter for traders and marketers of Butcher Street in Benin City, Edo State.
The Gods servant used Joseph as am example saying, Joseph was sold into slavery because God wanted to use him to help his people, adding that the families and other persons tried to help him but he was the helper chosen by God to help his people.
He subsequently said there are dimensions that one can not reach in ones family but needs a helper to get to that aspired position no matter the status of such a person, and God can send somebody who will reason differently from the way others are seeing it to be helper of such person.
The St. Francis Catholic Church Parish Priest urged the traders and those who have their shops and doing business around Butcher Street and environs not to tarry but have faith, adding God does not leave his people who have faith in Him and when they least expect He will send a helper to render their predicament. On his part one of the organizer of the special prayer section, Mr. Shedrack Rueben appreciated Fr. Andrew Obiyan for coming to share the word of God with them adding that he has rekindled their faith knowing that God will send a helper to come and uplift them in their lives and businesses.
The traders who could not hide their joy and happiness appreciated Fr. Andrew Obiyan for coming to see them even at the shot notice adding that they have been richly blessed by his sermon and encouragement to have faith as God will send a helper to help them both in their businesses and every aspect of their lives.
The highpoint program was a special prayer section for the traders, their customers and people within the environs.
