FORUM OF VETERAN MEDIA EXECUTIVES GETS CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION


 

 

The President of Forum of Veteran Media Executives (FVME), Kogi State, Mr. Barth Ademu has called for greater unity and commitment among members.

 

He said that as veteran journalists, there is still a lot to contribute to national discourse and development.

The FVME President made the called when a representative of the state government presented Certificate of Registration to the forum, on Tuesday.

The occasion was witnessed by key members of the body, drawn from Lokoja, the state capital and environs.

The representative of the state government, Mrs. Haruna, who came from the Ministry of Women Affairs, encouraged the members to prioritise welfare of the members and issues concerning the state and the country at large.

She urged the union to use its wealth of knowledge and experience, as retired journalists to promote the interest and development of the profession.
