Former Kogi NYCN official, Comrade Smile, lauds Pharm Asuku’s giant strides two years after


 

A former Organising Secretary of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in Kogi State, Amb. Ismail Abdullahi Abdulkadir has aplauded the Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello for his giant strides in the administration, two years after his appointment.

He made the statement in a congratulatory message to celebrate Pharm Asuku’s two years commemoration which he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja.

According to the former Kogi National Youth Council Chairmanship candidate; ‘Indeed this two years have no doubt been remarkable for those of us that believe in the leadership style and qualities being displayed by Chief Asuku.

Amb. Ismail who is popularly referred to as Comrade Smile thanked the chief of staff for putting education, health and youth inclusion in governance as top priority, and urged him to do more.

the former NYCN Organizing Secretary thanked him for organizing the educative competition among majorly the public schools in Kogi State, noting that such gesture was capable of improvingng the education system in the state.

“Most of us and very majority of those at the helm of affairs today went through the public schools system and those days, debate ,quiz and sporting events made us outstanding among our pairs in private schools even though the reverse is becoming the case today,” Comrade Smile stressed.

The youth leader adds that other people at various helm of affairs should borrow a leave from the young chief to do one or two to ensure that the standard of education in public schools are upheld back to the days of old.

“As you mark your two years anniversary let me join other friends and well wishers to say a very big congratulations praying that the years ahead will be more fulfilling than the years behind.

“Finally I pray that all our heart desires that will not mar us come to pass as genuine Smile will never depart from us.”
