The Forum of former Political Office Holders under Capt. Idris Wada have registered their appreciation to Gov. Yahaya Bello for his promise to speedily pay all their outstanding four months salaries, leave bonuses and severance owed them by the administration of Capt. Idris Wada.

The former political office holders 2012-2016, made the disclosure in a statement of appreciation following the fatherly love showed to them by Gov. Bello who hosted them to a meeting at short notice in Government House at the weekend.

In a statement signed by Hon. Sadiq Abubakar Ainoko Sadiq, former Commissioner For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Barr. Kayode Olowomoran, Former Commissioner For Culture and Tourism, described the warm reception accorded the Capt Wada appointees as unprecedented.

The Forum once again reiterated it resolve and readiness to work with the administration of Gov Bello with the promise to speedily pay all their outstanding four months salaries, leave bonuses and severance allowance.

The Forum described the speedy attention promised by the Governor as another qualities of his humaneness, described him as a true father of all the people of Kogi State.

Basking in the euphoria of the visit, the forum once again affirmed their support for Gov. Bello, pointing out that he has proven once again that he is a true Leader, who is concerned about people who are nobody, praised Gov Bello for the warm reception he accorded the forum.

The 2012-2016 forum described Gov. Bello as scoring another first like he has done since his assumption of office as a Governor to have inherited outstanding liabilities, and with a promise to pay within the life span of his administration.

The Forum assured Gov. Bello of it resolute commitment to working with him as soon as the promises to speedily pay all the outstanding is made, promised the unweaving commitment and loyalty of the members to the aspiration of Gov. Bello, before, during and after the expiration of his tenure.
