FORMER APC SENATORIAL ASPIRANT ONI CHRISTOPHER JOINS ADC, RECEIVED BY HON. ELDER LEKE ABEJIDE


 

In what appears to be a major setback for the ruling party APC, A former senatorial aspirant of the party, Oni Christopher Tosin alongside several of his followers and youth leaders of the APC extraction decamped to the ADC today.

 

The occasion which witnessed dignitaries and top party officials received by the people’s representative Hon Elder Leke Abejide, the member Representing Yagba federal Constituency in the House of Representatives was held in Egbe, Yagba West LGA of Kogi State.

Hon (Elder) Leke Abejide who was visibly excited noted that Oni Christopher was a big catch for the party and said that he was glad to receive him into the camp of the ADC, he described the party as a party which has a strong mechanism where internal democracy has been entrenched.

The former senatorial Aspirant Oni Christopher Tosin said he left the APC for its lack of internal democracy, gross abuse of privileges and lack of leadership in Kogi West Senatorial district. He also noted that “for a party who plans winning future elections in the zone to be so enmeshed into an obvious lack of direction and strategy, it shows that the party still have a long way to go”.

The occasion was largely attended by ADC party faithfuls from the three LGAs of Yagba Federal Constituency. Also present were the Assembly candidates of the party in the three LGAs of Yagba Federal Constituency, where he enjoined all his supporters across the local government to support the Assembly candidates to secure a landslide victory in the 2023 general elections in Yagba.
