Folorunsho Olafemi has without reservation of words, condemned the robbery attack of Banks In Egbe and Odo-Ere Communities of Yagba West Local Government Area which claimed the lives and properties of community members, therefore living the communities in chaos and fear of the unexpected.
According to Olafemi, “this is a barbaric and uncivil act that is heavily detested by any sane society and as such must be paid diligent attention in its entirety, this act is alien to our people and its happening has left our people in absolute fears and worries”.
He encouraged community policing mercenaries to continue with every measures put in place to smoke out criminals from the communities, while commending other state security agencies for giving the incident a tough fight which he expressed optimism that all soiled hands will soon be fished out.
He gave words of condolences to the management and staff of First Bank of Nigeria, United Bank of Africa and Access Bank, families of those who were casualties of the criminal act as well as the communities and Local Government Area in general.
He further enjoined the people of Yagba Land to remain vigilant and security conscious; and stay ready to report every suspicious activities, movements, actions and inactions to the security agencies in order to assist them in bringing justice to all those who have experienced such a terrible criminal act.
