The Media in the State has performed their job creditably to promote the activities of the Government. However, some sections of the media have heightened unnecessary political agitation in the State, particularly some social media handlers and some uncultured spoke political persons. They push out fake news. These fake news or fabricated stories create unwholesome political tensions.
The fake news are shared intentionally to create confusion. No doubt, their action is undermining our democratic process. Let me remind these unpatriotic persons that their action has its consequences. Election is not war, fake or no fake news the right candidate that work better will win”.
