Felele bus stop community begs AEDC to fence transformer to avoid danger, vandalisation


 

The people of Felele bus stop community in Lokoja have called on the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) to assist the community by fencing the transformer recently installed by AEDC.

 

Recalled that the transformer was vandalised by hoodlums in February this year which left the community in darkness for six months.

Some of the community by name Alhaji Yekini Otuoze who spoke with tribuneonline on Sunday thanked the management and staff of AEDC Abuja office and Lokoja AEDC for the fort stressing that if the transformer is not fence it will give room for hoodlums to invade the transformer.

Alhaji Otuoze said that the transformer is expose as hoodlum may take the advantage and then further put the community in another total darkness and also some innocent children can also work into the transformer and tamper with it.

He therefore appeal to AEDC to kindly come to the aid of the community and fence it.
