FCT AREA COUNCILS POLLS: HON. ABUBAKAR PROMISES MULTI- DIMENSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

As the Federal Capital Territory (fct),Abuja Councils election slated for Saturday 12th febuary,2022 draws near, political parties and their Candidates both for the Chaimanship and councillorship position has already intensified Campaigns to market and sell their Candidates to the people of the area Councils in the federal capital territory ahead of the election.

The Chaimanship Candidates for Bwari area Council on the platform of the all progressives grand alliance (APGA),Hon Abubakar Abdullahi has promised multi dimensional development to the good people of the area Council if given the mandate to serve.

Honourable Abubakar disclosed this to the Press in an exclusive interview at the National headquarters of the party katape, Abuja.

According to Hon. Abubakar,his over 25 years domicile in Bwari area Council  had given him the opportunity to get himself aquainted with the people and also the awareness of the various challenges faced by the people, adding that if elected he stood a better chance to change the narratives. maginalization, alienation and neglect which the people were subjected to by successive administration as he was going to bring on board  participatory and inclusive governance where the input of the masses would be given a pride of place, he stressed.
Hon. Abubakar said the people’s welfare would receive priority attention as many live touching policy and program would be initiated  and implemented.he further disclosed that the problem of power outage suffered in Bwari area Council would be corrected immediately he assumed office,he query a situation where places like maitama,wuse,Garki and other satellite towns enjoy adequate power supply but the reverse was the case in Bwari area council.in his words ” if the problem is distribution, my government on board will provide transformers to boost power supply in all the nooks and crannies,he added
He noted that his administration on board would establish a micro finance bank for indigenes of the area Council with the mandate to provide loans for interested bussines individuals and artisans at zero interest rate.

He said if given the mandate to serve, the security of lives and property of the people of the area Council would also received adequate attention,as the existing community police (the vigilante group of Nigeria) would be taken over by the area Council their welfare and salaries and other logistics that would make them more effective, dedicated and committed.
Hon. Abubakar further expressed optimism and confidence in inec’s ability to conduct a free, fair and credible election, adding that his only fear and worries was the hostile and violent politiking that has characterized the campaigns of other political parties participating in the forthcoming elections,even as he called on his party members and supporters to eschew violence and remain law abiding during and after the elections.
