
Excitement as KGCSDA Staff Welcome GM Alhaji Chief Momoh Dauda from Hajj Pilgrimage

Lokoja, June 23, 2025 — It was a moment of joy, gratitude, and spiritual fulfillment today as the management and staff of the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency (KGCSDA) rolled out the red carpet to welcome their General Manager, Alhaji Chief Momoh Dauda, who just returned from the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.

The brief but colorful reception held at the agency’s premises in Lokoja was marked by heartfelt prayers, goodwill messages, and a strong display of unity and camaraderie among staff. The event served not only as a welcome-home celebration but also as an expression of gratitude to God for the successful completion of the spiritual journey undertaken by the GM.
The Operations Manager, Mr. Bayode Oladipo, who held the fort in the GM’s absence, delivered an overview of activities and milestones achieved during the period. He expressed appreciation for the trust and confidence reposed in him by the General Manager, affirming that the team remained focused and committed to the agency’s mandate throughout his absence.
“I am deeply grateful to Alhaji Chief Momoh Dauda for the opportunity to serve in this capacity. His leadership has inspired us to always give our best,” Oladipo stated.
Special prayers were offered by the Chief Imam of the Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Mallam Muhammed Kazim, who led the spiritual session. He thanked Allah for granting the GM a successful Hajj and prayed for divine wisdom, good health, and continuous blessings upon him. He also prayed that the spiritual benefits of the pilgrimage would overflow into the lives and duties of all agency staff.
Also speaking at the event, the Finance and Administration Manager, Pastor Mark Abuh, commended the General Manager for his remarkable humility and unwavering trust in the capacity of the agency’s management. “Alhaji Dauda’s leadership is not just about occupying an office; it’s about character, trust, and leading by example,” he noted.
Responding to the warm welcome, a visibly moved Alhaji Chief Momoh Dauda expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the entire management and staff for their support, prayers, and dedication to duty while he was away. He specifically acknowledged some of the remarkable achievements recorded during his absence, stating that it is a testament to the strength and competence of the team.

This is not just a welcome party — it is a demonstration of loyalty, cooperation, and shared commitment to service,” the GM said. “I assure you all that I will not relent in ensuring that every staff member gets the attention and support needed to function optimally.
