The Executive Secretary, Kogi State Office For Disability Affairs, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has praised Gov. Yahaya Bello for appointing a Special Person as Senior Special Assistant on Disability matters.
The Executive Secretary equally lauded the Governor for also granting scholarship to two other special persons.
Recalled that the Governor at the weekend appointed a Special Person as Senior Special Assistant and gave two scholarship to two Special Persons at the just concluded Kogi LGA Quaranic Recitation Competition.
Barr. Dare described the Governor’s gestures towards PWDS as unprecedented in anals of the State history, said no administration has equaled his record.
Barr. Dare congratulated Usman Saidu Jaidu for emerging as the overall winner and others who won prizes.
The Executive Secretary equally praised Engr. Bashiru Gegu for his support to PWDs, said he has remained a friend to the disability community, urged him to sustain the feat in making Kogi LGA feel the impact of government.
Barr. Dare equally praised the Commissioner for donating the sum of N0.5million and a wheel chair during Quranic competition to another special person, pointing out that the Commissioner has by his gesture proven to be a friend to people with disabilities.
