Mrs. Tokunbo Awoniyi, has again displayed her magnanimity towards positively touching lives of the vulnerable and less privileged in the society by offsetting the WAEC and School Fees of some children at the Margaret Garba Ohiani Orphanage home Lokoja.
Mrs. Tokunbo is the wife of the former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Arch. Yomi Awoniyi.
She paid the WAEC Fee and school fees of another 3 students at the orphanage home.
This she disclosed is to enable the students write WAEC as well as aid in the payment of the school fees of the three other students.
Recalled that the former Deputy Governor’s wife has over the years intervened in the upkeep of Children at Margret Garba Ohiani Orphanage home.
She has yearly renovated the home, provided water, install generator as well as in changing the furniture and beddings of the home.
Similarly, Mrs. Tokunbo has constantly organized yearly Christmas Party, provided foodstuffs and other consumables to the home.
Speaking on behalf of Mrs. Tokunbo, Mrs Idowu Adedotun Abu, said the gesture is in continuation of Mrs. Tokunbo’s efforts towards putting smiles on the faces of less privileged in the society.
She urged the students to reciprocate the gesture done to them by Mrs Tokunbo Awoniyi in studying hard so as to ensure that they excel in their academics and examination.
