Ex- Edo NAWOJ Scribe Congratulates Deputy Governor, Omobayo

 

The immediate past secretary of the Edo State chapter of the National Association of Women Journalists and publisher of De-Patriot News online, Comrade Rosemary Okoduwa has congratulated His Excellency, Marvelous Godwins Omobayo on his appointment.

In a congratulatory message to the new Deputy Governor, by Rosemary Okoduwa and made available to newsmen in Benin City noted that Omobayo’s past contributions to development of Edo State in his private capacity singled him out for the appointment and urged him to continue to uphold his commitment to the upliftment of his people and expand its scope.

According to the statement, “Please accept my warm congratulations on your appointment as the Deputy Governor of Edo and my best wishes for your success as you take up the responsibilities and challenges of your new office.

“There’s no doubt that your past contributions to the development of Edo State in your personal capacity, efforts you have made to change the political narratives to be tailored to the development of the grassroots, your willingness to volunteer your time to work for the good of your people have contributed to your selection for this position.

“It’s clear you have the drive and potential needed to discharge your functions as the Deputy Governor of Edo State and I trust that you will bring your wealth of experience as a seasoned engineer with a track record of all the operations of information communication technology to bear in the governance of Edo State and assist your principal, Governor Godwin Obaseki to finish well.
