The swift decision by Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi State to quickly in the heat of the Jos attack move to evacuate Kogi State and other Nigerian students to Abuja has been described as another eloquent testimony that he is a unifier, needed as President of Nigeria.
Speaking with Newsmen on what he termed as another Presidential feat displayed by Gov. Yahaya Bello, a one time National President of NAKOSS, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, commended the governor for the decision to evacuate Kogi State and other students from other states to safety in Abuja as unprecedented.
Barr. Dare was also a one time NAKOSS National Vice President, also served as one time National Senate President of NAKOSS, said beyond evacuating the students to Kogi Liaison officer of the State in Abuja, praised the Governor for given each of the Nigerian student, irrespective of State of origin N5000 as transportation fare to their respective States.
Barr. Dare who is an All Progressives Congress Chieftain and the Convener for Congress for Better Nigeria for GYB2PYB, described the display of love and unity for the Nigerian students shown by Gov. Bello as the right qualification needed by the nation’s next President.
While he commended Gov. Bello for his patriotism and love for the students, urged other Governor’s in the country to learn and emulate from his unifying characteristics, disclosing that this is what the nation needs now as key ingredients for unity.
The Legal luminery, Activists and Human Rights Crusader, Barr. Dare described the present time in Nigeria as Youths o’clock, says beyond all reasonable doubt and having considered all options, Gov. Yahaya Bello remains the best option for the country in 2023.
Barr. Dare called for the continued support of Nigerian Youths for the Presidential aspiration of Gov Bello, insisting that he is the best thing that is needed for Youths in Nigeria to have a sense of belonging.
The Former NAKOSS President equally described Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku, the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Government as an energetic and inspiring youth, who was very sensitive to the yearning of the Nigerian students, commended him for his quick packaging of the proposal and approval that led to the evacuation of the Nigerian students.
Barr. Dare described Pharm Abdulkareem as a man of vision and unlimited passion for the students and youths of Nigeria, says he has once again demonstrated passion and zeal as the Youngest Chief of Staff in the country, as having a better understanding of what Nigerian Youths and Students need.
The former National President of NAKOSS appreciated the kind gesture displayed by the Kogi State Government in ensuring that Students of University of Jos who are of Kogi Origin and from other States are moved out of the state at a short notice described the action as very responsive of a governor who believes in the safety of citizens within and outside the country.
He said the recent display of love for lives and properties no doubt sums up the reasons Gov. Bello has thus far scored very high marks in the area of Security, Youth and Women Empowerment in the country, assured him of the overwhelming support of Nigerian Students Nationwide come 2023.
