Etsu Bassan’ge Kingdom: I Lost a father, confidant, moral compass – Kogi PDP Chairman
The Kogi State Chairman, People’s Democratic Party, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, says he has lost a father, confidant and a moral compass by reason of the death of His Royal Majesty, Brigadier General Abu Ali Mopa 111 (Rtd), Etsu Bassan’ge kingdom, a First-Class Monarch in Kogi State.
Hon. Gambo made the disclosure shortly after the Traditional Ruler was laid to rest, expressed sadness over the death of the Etsu Bassan’ge kingdom, expressed his condolences to the family, Bassa Nge’s, Government
The PDP Chairman described the 22 years reign of the late Etsu Bassan’ge, as one that was rewarding to the people, said he dedicated himself to the service of mankind, left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
According to him, “His Royal Majesty, Abu Ali Mopa 111 was not only an upright and principled leader but also a beacon of compassion and wisdom. His unwavering commitment to his people and his community will forever be remembered.
“Let me express my condolences to my people of Bassaland, Kogi and Nigeria, on behalf of myself and the Kogi State PDP, over this monumental loss, and may we find solace in the enduring legacy of Etsu Abu Ali Mopa 111,
“He lived a fulfilled life of service to God and humanity and may his spirit of compassion and wisdom continue to guide all of us.
“I pray God to grant him eternal rest and also give the people of Bassan’ge the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” Hon. Muhammed, said.
