The leading All Progressive Congress, Kogi Central Senatorial Candidate Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere, FNSE during his campaign activities in the previous week visited the paternal home of his principal, Agassa in the Okene-Eba/Agassa -Ahache ward.
Among the Dignitaries present was Odovidi of Ehebe clan and other traditional fathers in the clan; His Excellency’s Brother Alh Muhammad Bello, Chairman of Okene Local Government, Hon Abdulrazak Yusuf Muhammad and his vice, Hajia Bilkis Aliyu Enyuse, Hon Mukhtar Bello M-Big, SA to the Governor on Domestic Affairs, Hon Kabiru Onyene, SIEC Commissioner, Hon. Chogudo, APC House of Assembly candidate for Okene I Constituency Hon Abdulrazak SAS, Hon Ibrahim Ahovi, Former Senatorial Aspirant Engr Ibrahim and a host of others.
The people of the Agassa community came out in mass to welcome the former commissioner for Works and Housing at the family house of Governor Yahaya Bello. They appreciated him for his efforts in fixing the infrastructural needs of the agassa community while in his previous office. Most especially the Agassa-Upogoro road, Agassa-Okene Eba road, Agassa primary schools, and other infrastructural developments that were extended to the community.
In his response, The All Progressive Congress party Flag-bearer for the Kogi Central Senatorial seat, Engr Abubakar Sadiku Ohere after his courtesies, thanked Almighty Allah for blessing the entire Ebira nation with the coming of His Excellency, Alh Yahaya Bello as the Executive Governor of Kogi State after several attempts by our past leaders.
He also thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for being such a pragmatic and purposeful leader which the entire Kogi State has been yearning for. He urged the people of Agassa, especially the Ehebe clan where Governor Yahaya Bello hailed from to thank His Excellency for not disappointing them but rather etching their name in a golden wall that will stand the test of time.
He further enjoined the people not to relent in supporting the new direction government and all APC candidates fielded for the forthcoming election. He promised things are going to keep getting better and they will not betray the trust the Governor and the party bestowed on them.
He donated a sum of Five Million Naira for the Ehebe youths, One Million Naira for women, and another One Million Naira for the elders as robust empowerment for the clan.
The entire Ehebe clan appreciated Engr Abubakar Sadiku Ohere for his relentless impartment towards the progress and peace of the clan over time and pledged their unalloyed support for his aspiration.
