Engr. Bashiru Gegu Sets to Sink Boreholes in Girinya, Okofi and Aseni Communities of Kogi LGA.
The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources Chief Dr. Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, has begun the implementation of Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo’s directives to Commissioners to sink 3 boreholes in their Local Government Areas.
Engr. Bashiru who is away from the country and still touching lives is set to drill boreholes across the 3 political zone in Kogi Local Government.
Areas identified for the Borehole is Girinya, Okofi and Aseni.
Recalled that before the Governor’s directive, Engr Bashiru has remained a bastion of Community Development.
The Solid Minerals Development Commissioner has before now Sank several boreholes, donated transformers, paid school fees through scholarship, intervene in payment of medical bills amongst so many empowerment program.
