Engr. Bashiru Gegu, former Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, has congratulated Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo and Comr. Joel Salifu Oyibo on their successful inauguration as the fifth democratically elected Executive Governor of Kogi State.
Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo was inaugurated today at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Center, Lokoja, with personalities from different parts of the Country, including Vice President Kassim Shettima and traditional rulers in attendance.
Engr. Bashiru expressed confidence in the capacity of the new State Governor to perform well given his experience in governance.
In a statement issued to Newsmen and signed by the new Commissioner nominee, said he has no doubt in his mind that the Governor would surpass the achievements of his predecessor, saying doing so will delight the mind of his predecessor and also the entire people of Kogi state.
Engr. Bashiru enjoined the people of Kogi state to support the new administration to enable it discharge it’s duties efficiently and effectively to the people, assured of his support and loyalty to Gov. Ododo at all times.
“We must all give our support to our new Governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, especially by praying fervently for him to succeed. Let us join hands to ensure this administration succeed”
Engr Bashiru equally use the statement to congratulate the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government, Dr Folashade Ayoade Arike, Chief of Staff, Alh. Ali Bello and all other appointees and nominees appointed by Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo.
Engr. Bashiru prayed God to give all the appointees and Nominees the capacity to discharge their duties effectively.
