ENGR BASHIR GEGU COMMISERATES WITH FORMER ACCOUNTANT GENERAL ALH JIBRIL MOMOH OVER WIFE’S DEATH

The Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hajiya Hannatu Jibril, the wife of the former Accountant General of Kogi State, Alhaji Jibril Momoh.
In a condolence message, Engr Bashir Gegu described the death of Hajiya Hannatu as a painful loss not only to her immediate family but to the entire state, noting that she lived a life of humility, compassion, and service to humanity.
“Late Hajiya Hannatu Jibril was a mother to all, a virtuous woman who devoted her life to the service of Allah and to uplifting those around her. Her kindness, patience, and commitment to family values were exemplary,” the Commissioner stated.
Engr Bashir Gegu noted that her death has created a vacuum that will be difficult to fill, but urged the bereaved family to take solace in the fact that she lived a fulfilled life anchored on faith and good deeds.
He prayed that Almighty Allah forgives her shortcomings, grants her Aljannatul Firdaus, and gives Alhaji Jibril Momoh, the children, and the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“On behalf of myself, my family, and the people of Kogi LGA, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the former Accountant General and the entire Momoh family over this great loss,” he added.
